Ten Spruce Creek athletes across six different sports recently signed their national letters of intent to play sports at the next level.

Baseball: 

Cole Beverlin, Florida State

Cody Duke, Florida Southern

Hunter Fornari, Florida Gulf Coast

Basketball:

Jayla Adams, Florida Atlantic

Yoke Tassent, Rollins

Golf:

Seth Jolly, Barry

Softball:

Anna Carter, Daytona State

Tyler Colby, Florida Atlantic

Volleyball:

Anna Giannini, UNC Greensboro

Lindsey Pliapol, South Florida

Atlantic Sharks' girls weightlifting crushes Deltona

After placing second in the first meet of the season on Nov. 9 at Matanzas High School, the Sharks' girls weightlifting team bounced back with a 52-28 win over Deltona on the afternoon of Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Deltona High School.

1st Place Finishers: Snipes (110), Barnes (119), Williams (129), Brugammon (139), DeRosa (154), Rodriguez (163), Carson (169) and Waigond (199).

2nd Place Finishers: St. John (101), Phillio (110), Cowen (139) and Dubarco (169).

3rd Place Finishers: Norwood (UNLT).

Atlantic opens up a three-meet home stand on Tuesday, Nov. 21, against Pine Ridge.

Hawks' boys soccer on a roll

After losing to Merritt Island 2-1 in the first game of the season, Spruce Creek's boys soccer (3-1) team has won three-straight games.

11/13: Spruce Creek 3, Crescent City 2

11/15: Spruce Creek 5, University 0

11/17: Spruce Creek 9, Mainland 2
