Atlantic High School has reportedly fired the head coach of the football team, Kendall Bradley.

Bradley, who was hired by former Atlantic Athletics Director Zach Rigney in February 2017, was previously an offensive analyst for the Southeastern Conference's Missouri Tigers, where he primarily worked with quarterbacks and wide receivers.

Bradley will leave the Sharks without ever winning a game. Atlantic went 0-10 during the 2017 season and was shut out four times. The Sharks' offense averaged 7.4 points per game, and the defense gave up an average of 53.6 points per game.

Atlantic girls basketball back on track with victory over Deltona

The Sharks' girls basketball team tipped off its season with a 56-31 blowout loss on the road to Potter's House Christian on Nov. 18. After leading 20-18 at the half, Atlantic was outscored 23-5 in the third quarter and 15-6 in the fourth quarter. However, the Sharks (1-1) bounced back with a blowout win of its own in a 64-24 beat down of Deltona on Nov. 21 at Atlantic High School.

Creek boys open with loss to Seabreeze, girls team squashes University

The Spruce Creek boys basketball team lost its season-opener to Seabreeze 62-45 on Monday, Nov. 27, at Seabreeze High School. The Hawks return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 29, with their home-opener against Seminole.

As for the girls team, the Hawks won their season-opener 76-15 over University on Nov. 21 at Spruce Creek High School. University's highest-scoring quarter came in the second period where the Bulls scored six points. Guard Peryonna Sylvester led the Hawks with 24 points on 11-17 shooting. In addition, nine other Hawks players scored at least three points.

Hawks boys soccer wins fourth-straight

The Hawks' boys soccer team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 3-2 win over Creekside on Nov. 21 at Creekside High School. Spruce Creek scored two goals in the first half and the game-winner in the second half. Both of Creekside's goals came in the second half. It was the Hawks' fourth win in a row after their season-opening loss to Merritt Island.
