Erma Mohl is full of life as she shimmy's her shoulders to the beat of "Blue Suede Shoes" at her 103rd birthday party on Monday, Oct. 30.

Her music therapist, Judy Locke, is strumming away at her guitar, serenading Mohl with a song that will remind her of her youth. With her pink and purple hair, Mohl is still young at heart.

"She's full of life," said Sandie Pigott, Mohl's daughter. "You'd never believe she was 103."

Mohl was born on Oct. 30, 1914 in Reading, Pennsylvania where she lived for the majority of her life. Things changed about five years ago when she came to Florida on vacation. Mohl loved it and never left.

She has also been able to witness her family evolve over four generations. Mohl has seven children, nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She's also a bit of a heart-breaker. One of the gentlemen in her assisted living home even brought her six red roses and a card for her birthday, though he fell asleep at the time of the party. Pigott jokingly told Mohl she needed to dump him, and her mother laughed.

Throughout the years, Mohl has definitely retained her great sense of humor. In her spare time, she loves to play bingo and watch reality TV.
