Flagler County Firefighters gathered at the former Food Lion in Flagler Beach on Wednesday, Aug. 23, Thursday, Aug. 24 and Friday, Aug. 25 for fire rescue simulations.
The firefighters performed various drills, including a search and rescue in a zero-visibility situation and the proper method for crawling with a two-and-a-half-inch hose to put out an internal fire in a zero-visibility room. To create the illusion of zero-visibility, firefighters placed plastic wrap over their face shields.
