Residents of Flagler and Volusia Counties will have free access to Florida Hospital eCare Urgent Care providers throughout Hurricane Irma, according to a release.
Virtual visits are typically $49, but from Friday, Sept. 8, to Tuesday, Sept. 12, Florida Hospital is offering the service for free.
“Despite the storm, illness and injuries still happen,” said Scott Brady, the Florida Hospital Centra Care president and CEO, in a release. “We want residents to know we’re available should the need for urgent care arise before, during or after the storm.”
Florida Hospital providers are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day until the storm subsides. Users can expect live and secure telephone health consultations for a range of services that include:
Residents can download the Florida Hospital eCare app and set up a personal or family account before the storm arrives.
The app is free and can be downloaded onto any smartphone or tablet by searching “eCare” or “Florida Hospital eCare.”
