Shadow Wall represents Port Orange at Daytona State's Music Industry Club

Alexa DeLoera: 'Everyone is supportive of each other's music. It feels like family.'

Port Orange-based band Shadow Wall, consisting of Nick Ignoffo, Steven Morris, Daniel Lunde and Alexa Deloera, recently performed at Cinematique Theater in an event put on by Daytona State Music Industry Club and president Ysa Fernandez.

The band played a six-song set list of all originals, including the song "Just Okay," and the crowd sang along.

"It is amazing to see how much the music scene has grown in the past years alone, and I hope to see it continue to grow," said Alexa DeLoera, who plays bass for Shadow Wall. "We are all interconnected, and everyone is supportive of each other's music. It feels like family."

Shadow Wall plays next on Oct. 26, at the Rok Bar, in Daytona Beach, along with Swiss Army and Animal Portraits.
