"Pass the test. Do your very best. And let's hustle through this test."
This was the closing message Tomoka Elementary students Camryn Chiumento and Ayanna Eakin-Darby shared with their peers during the school's Florida Standard Assessments pep rally on Friday, April 6.
Classes gathered outside under the pavilion at the Ormond Beach school to watch chorus students perform several song and dance routines with lyrics about preparing for the upcoming FSA.
Tomoka Elementary Principal Susan Tuten said this is the second year the school held a FSA pep rally. Students worked with Coach Jamie Sheriff, Florida Future Educators of America sponsor Kamisha Payne and music teachers Catherine Rogers and Lesley Dennis for the performances.
