Possession/use of narcotic paraphernalia. A 29-year-old woman was arrested after she fled through a backdoor of her home when she noticed police had spotted a glass pipe on the couch.
Police initially arrived at the scene to respond to a call about a disturbance. They made contact with the woman, who was sitting on her couch with a Smirnoff Ice in her hand. As they spoke, police noticed a glass pipe atop the kitchen bar. When she got up from the couch, telling the officers she had to go into her bedroom, police saw a second glass pipe on the spot where she was sitting.

Drunk person. Police responded to a call regarding a 38-year-old man drunk off cooking wine who was sleeping in front of a local grocery store. The man told officers he had been sleeping there for about an hour, and that he was broke and the only thing he could afford to drink was cooking wine, which he purchased earlier that day.
Police noted the cooking wine was almost gone when they found him. He was placed in protective custody under the Meyer's Act and transported to Halifax Hospital.
7:16 p.m. — First block of Bella Vita Way
Disturbance. Police issued a trespass warning to a 41-year-old woman who initially called the station to report that her neighbor was cursing at her children, whom were playing outside while he was walking his dogs.
Police informed her that cursing was not considered assault, to which she replied, "Fine, I'll handle it myself" and hung up the phone. Police attempted to call her back, but were unable to reach her again, leading them to respond to the scene.
Once there, the neighbor in question told police that a child, who is not related to the woman who called police, was taunting his dogs with a stick while he walked them. He said he told the child to stop because his dogs bite. This led to a confrontation between the neighbor at the woman, which included threats to slap him in the face and another neighbor yelling to another that she would "stomp her face."
The latter neighbor was also issued a trespass warning.
