Details: All are invited to the grand opening of FootGolf, which combines soccer and golf, to try the nine-hole course. Details: Rabbi Zev Sonnenstein and the board of directors of Temple Beth Shalom in Palm Coast announce a Temple-based home study experience for beginners and more advanced students, ages 6 and up. Based on the student’s knowledge, background and ability, Rabbi Zev will evaluate and develop a curriculum unique to each student. Students work online at home, with an educator checking progress weekly. Registration for the school year will be from on Aug. 19, at the Temple. Details: John Skirpko, Edward Jones financial advisor, has organized this month's Palm Coast Food Truck Tuesday to benefit Alzheimer Association. There will be two musical acts at the event: J. R. Ward, a country music artist who has a song written about Alzheimer's on iTunes (all downloaded purchases will go directly to the Walk to End Alzheimer's campaign), and Jordan and the Posey Pickers. This year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, at the River to Sea Preserve on beachside.

Details: The Compassionate Friends is a nonprofit self-help bereavement support organization for families that have experienced the death of a child. Details: The newly formed Flagler Tiger Bay Club board of directors are pleased to announce their inaugural event, which is a wine tasting and hors d'oeuvres pairing evening. Flagler Tiger Bay Club formed last month and is a nonpartisan club that caters to a diverse group of members.
