Football players, band members, cheerleaders, principals and coaches from both Flagler Palm Coast High School and Matanzas High School joined together for a continental breakfast and a worship service. The bands from both schools entertained those in attendance with a variety of spirited musical selections. Superintendent James Tager and coaches from both teams greeted all who were there during the 9:30 a.m. service. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes was present as well.
In addition, members of the Bethune-Cookman University football team, Athletic Director Lynn Thompson and the coaching staff were present at the 11 a.m. service.
