At 9 p.m. on Monday, the police department found a dead woman in the home. After investigating, the department determined she was a homicide victim, according to a department press release. She also did not live where she was found.

Port Orange Police Detectives still are investigating the scene. The department identified the woman, but information is not being released until family is notified.

The department is searching for 37-year-old McMullen, who knew the victim. He is 5 feet 11 inches inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has hazel or brown eyes.

He was driving a 1998 maroon, four-door Buick Regal registered to the victim, however the car was found unoccupied at 2595 W. International Speedway in Daytona Beach, according to a department update.

The department does not know if he is armed or a threat to others. If anyone has additional information, call local law enforcement or Crimestoppers.
