Saturday, Dec. 22

Foot Golf Holiday Tournament

When: 2 p.m.

Where: Palm Harbor Golf Club, 20 Palm Harbor Drive

Cost: $25/player for Flagler Soccer members; $30/player for nonmembers

Details: Flagler Soccer and Palm Harbor Golf Club will present the first-annual Foot Golf Holiday Tournament. Teams of four, register now at https://www.flaglersoccer.com/footgolf. There will be nine holes, shirts for the winners, trophy for best individual score and food and alcohol available.

 

Westside Baptist Cantata and Cocoa

When: 6 p.m.

Where: Westside Baptist Church, 3559 Canal Ave., Bunnell

Cost: Free

Details: Join the Westside Baptist Choir at the annual Christmas Cantata. There will be hot cocoa and fresh cookies after. All visitors will receive a free gift. Email [email protected].

Fine art exhibit

Where: Berkshire Hathaway Gallery, European Village, 101 Palm Harbor Parkway No. 145

Cost: Free

Details: “Touched by the Moon,” a fine art exhibit featuring the recent work of Judi Wormeck will be at the Berkshire Hathaway Gallery.

 

Tuesday, Jan. 8

Flagler Sportfishing Club meeting

When: 7-9 p.m.

Where: Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8696, 47 Old Kings Road N.

Cost: Free

Details: The guest speaker will be Captain Tommie Durham, the sales manager at Big Boys Play Toys in Palatka. For members, there will also be a Chili Cook-off at the meeting. Entry is a pot of your best chili. Entries must arrive between 6:30 and 7 p.m.

Human-Trafficking Awareness Walk

When: 5-6 p.m.

Where: Wadsworth Park, 2200 Moody Blvd., Flagler Beach

Cost: Free

Details: The Freedom7 Human Trafficking Awareness Day Walk “Light the Way, Walk with Me” is to bring awareness to human trafficking in local communities. Details: City Repertory Theatre presents a staged reading of "THE WOMEN," an all-female 1936 classic. Details: American Association of University Women Flagler will welcome Flagler County School Board member Colleen Conklin and the Buddy Taylor Middle School Community Problem Solvers, with coach Suzanne Stone, to its monthly general meeting. They will inform AAUW Flagler about the Flagler Lifeline Suicide Prevention program and Project STAY: Students Trying to Abate Yearning for suicide.
