Police investigating possible suicide of 17-year-old female

The Port Orange Police Department is currently investigating a possible suicide of a 17-year-old female, according to a POPD press release. 

On Friday, Feb. 2, at approximately 10:49 a.m., Port Orange Police responded to 408 Nancy Circle, near Herbert Street and Orange Avenue, in reference to the death of a 17-year-old female in an apparent suicide. 

The names of the involved parties are being withheld until the next of kin can be notified.
