Humane Society asking for information related to dog with acid burns on body

The dog is now up for adoption.

The Halifax Humane Society received a three-year old male Carolina dog on Friday, February 9, with acid burns on the left side of its body and head. The dog, named Triumph, has undergone numerous treatments by the HHS veterinarian staff and is now on the adoption floor and ready for his forever home.

HHS has no information as to the how Triumph was injured. Anyone with information about the mistreatment of this dog is asked to contact the Volusia County Sheriff's Office or HHS at 274-4703.
