Twelve children win Knights of Columbus free throw tournament

This was the second annual competition.

Several children will have the chance to compete in a regional event after winning the Sunday, Feb. 4, Free Throw Basketball Shooting

Competition put on by the Our Lady of Hope Knights of Columbus, Council 8086.

Twelve children between the ages of 9 and 13 placed first in the second annual competition. The National Supreme Knight of Columbus has been sponsoring the international free thrown competition since 1972 to allow children between the ages of 9 and 14 to compete.
