A toss for the cause: Special Olympics benefits from Port Orange corn hole tournament at Mellow Mushroom

Mellow Mushroom donated to Volusia's Special Olympics organization.

Mellow Mushroom hosted a corn hole tournament on Sunday, Jan. 7, benefitting Volusia Special Olympics. Denise Breneman, the director of Special Olympics in Volusia County, said the event was a way for athletes and coaches to have fun with Port Orange residents. Mellow Mushroom donated 10% of the bill to the cause, as well as the $10 buy-in to play corn hole. Tournaments will be head quarterly at the restaurant, at 5790 Journey's End Way.
