Early Learning Coalition receives grant from BB&T

The Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia was awarded a $5,000 grant from BB&T Bank, according to a news release. ELCFV receives a 16-to-1 match from the state of Florida, turning the grant total into $85,000.

The money from the grant will be used to enroll at-risk children in early learning programs throughout Flagler and Volusia counties.

ELCFV’s programs help prepare children for kindergarten and for further schooling by giving kids opportunities for quality early learning while strengthening family stability.
