Details: The city of Palm Coast will hold a public meeting to share details about proposed improvements to the Whiteview Parkway corridor (from U.S. 1 to Pritchard Drive). City staff recently conducted an analysis of the entire Whiteview Parkway corridor and identified potential projects to improve safety and efficiency on the roadway system. Details: Flagler County Emergency Services and the National Weather Service will host the class. Those who participate in the class are eligible to become volunteer storm spotters and assist Emergency Services and the National Weather Service by reporting potentially hazardous weather events. Details: Craig Johnson is the New York Times bestselling author of the Longmire mysteries, the basis for the hit Netflix series “Longmire.” He will be the guest speaker at a western-themed fundraiser sponsored by the University Women of Flagler, which raises money for college scholarships for local, young women. Details: The open house reception for the auction to benefit a team from the church that will go on the Dominican Republic Missions Project in the spring to build homes and deliver supplies for the impoverished.
