Bobby Bossardet was named the next principal of Buddy Taylor Middle School by Superintendent James Tager, according to a June 12 news release. Bossardet replaces John Fanelli, who has joined the Flagler Schools District team to work with student and community engagement.
“I have admired his work since the moment I started here last June,” Tager said in the release. “Bobby’s work ethic, his passion for the students is something which will serve him well, and I am excited to see him bring that passion to Buddy Taylor Middle School.”
In accepting this new position, Bossardet said in the release, “I want to bring out the full potential of all our staff and students. Buddy Taylor Middle School sits in the heart of Flagler County. So many of our community leaders have walked those halls. There is a great deal of pride to be found in that. Most of my family, from my brother to my wife, were Buddy Taylor Eagles, so I know what this school means to my community. My goal is to bring up the next generation of leaders and continue to build on the foundation this school’s namesake first laid here in Flagler County.”
Bossardet is a 1999 graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School. While there, he was a state championship wrestler. He attended Carson Newman College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in human exceptionalities in 2003. He earned his master's degree in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University in 2007. Over the past 14 years, Bossardet has taught, coached and been a part of the administration at Flagler Palm Coast High School. He begins transitioning to his new job immediately.
