To help his mother pay for a double mastectomy, John Covington is rewarding donors with a free men's haircut voucher to redeem where he works at Indelible Cuts, located at 160 Cypress Point Parkway.

“We started the GoFundMe because she just had surgery to get cancer removed yesterday,” Covington, 22, said on July 13. “We’re not the kind of people to ask for money, so I would rather give something back to them too.”

John and his mother, Rebecca Covington, have lived in Palm Coast since 2010. He said the surgery hopefully removed his mother's breast cancer but that only time will tell.

He said that anyone who makes a minimum $10 donation toward his mother's GoFundMe page can then schedule a haircut appointment with him through https://www.indeliblecuts.com and then bring in proof of the donation at the appointment. John Covington added that if women want to donate, they can give the voucher to their male significant other, brother or father, etc., as he only does men's haircuts.
