Details: As part of Parks and Recreation Month, Florida Hospital Flagler and the Palm Coast Parks and Recreation Department are hosting this event. To help residents reduce their risk of heart disease and other common health problems, screening services will include: musculoskeletal; blood pressure; weight, height and BMI; carbon monoxide; and ankle-brachial index. Information will be provided about a number of health services available.

Details: The Florida Department of Health in Flagler will offer immunizations for students Monday to Friday from July 30 to Aug. 17. No appointment necessary. Parents and guardians are asked to bring their child’s immunization record, insurance card and photo ID. Please call the Health Department at 437-7350, ext. 7095.

Details: Flagler Broadcasting will be collecting back to school donations to “STUFF the limo” with school supplies. All supplies will go to the Flagler County Education Foundation STUFF Bus program. More than 60% of Flagler Schools students are on free and reduced lunch.

Cost: $50 per person
Details: This class is a seven-hour course (one hour for lunch) designed to meet OSHA regulations and teach administering CPR to children and adults, using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), using a mask or barrier device and assisting with bleeding, broken bones.
