4th of July Spectacular
When: 5:30 p.m.
Where: City Center, 1000 City Center Circle, Port Orange
Cost: Free
Details: This year, the city of Port Orange have its annual 4th of July Spectacular featuring fireworks starting at 9 p.m. City Hall Plaza will feature two kid's zones this year, including moon bounces, slides and more. Attendees can grab dinner at Food Court Alley or check out the roaming magicians, clowns, stilt walker and balloon animals. Call 506-5851.
A live band will also be play on the Kenneth W. Parker Amphitheater all night long. Beer and wine sales proceeds will benefit the Port Orange Community Trust.

Details: The city of New Smyrna Beach will be hosting a July 4th celebration with food trucks, live music and fireworks, which will start at 9:15 p.m. Call 410-2600.

Cost: $50 per person
Details: The city of New Smyrna Beach and Atlantic Center for the Arts will be hosting the 4th of July Casino Nights to benefit the Alonzo "Babe" Summer Fun Scholarships and Atlantic Summer for the Arts. Call 410-2880.

4th of July 1-mile Fun Run
When: 7:30 a.m.
Where: 5521 S Williamson Blvd., Port Orange
Cost: Free
Details: The Running Elements will host a free 1-Mile Run/Walk in the Pavilion at Port Orange. Attendees are encouraged to wear red, white and blue. Snacks, refreshments and giveaways will be a part of the event, which is not timed and is for all ability levels. Registration and signed waiver is required for all participants. 2018 Star Spangled Bandshell Concert Series

Where: Daytona Beach Bandshell, 70 Boardwalk
Cost: Free
Details: The Alter Eagles, an Eagles tribute band, will playing for the July 4, Daytona Beach Star Spangled Summer Bandshell Concert series. A fireworks display will take place at the end of the concert as part of Bud Lights up Daytona. Call 253-0254.

Ormond Beach Celebrates July 4th
When: 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Where: City Hall Ormond Beach, 22 S. Beach St.
Cost: Free
Details: Ormond Beach will be celebrating the Fourth of July with classic rock and blue followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m. There will bet two bands kicking off the celebration along with kid zones on the north lawn of the Casements. Entertainment will stretch from City Hall Plaza across the Granada Bridge to Rockefeller Gardens. Rockefeller Gardens will feature the “UpTUIT” band and City Hall will feature “Tie Dye Road” both playing from 7 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.
Kids’ activities will be in Rockefeller Gardens (North Lawn) from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Kids’ activities include a moon walk, an obstacle course, a giant slide and more. Returning this year, there will be a photo booth, balloon twisting, and a stilt walker.
Those with handicapped parking permits may park in the lot near Bailey Riverbridge Gardens (where Pilgrim’s Rest Church is located), on the northeast corner of Granada Blvd. and North Beach Street. Public parking includes the lot behind City Hall, The Casements parking lot, and Fortunato Park.
Please be aware that the parking area on South Beach Street adjacent to Cassen Park will be closed at 12 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4, and will remained closed until 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 5.
Cassen Park piers and boat docks will be closed at 7 p.m. on July 4.
South Beach Street will be closed from Granada Blvd. to Mound Avenue; and Grove Street will be closed from Tomoka Avenue to Division Avenue. Other side streets within the event area may be detoured or closed for the event.
Free shuttle service will be available from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. to assist guests in getting back and forth across the Granada Bridge. Pick-up and drop-off locations are at Beach Street and Granada Blvd. on the west side of the bridge, and at Riverside Drive and Granada Blvd. on east side of the bridge. We encourage you to get to your fireworks viewing location prior to the end of the shuttle service. The final shuttle will end at City Hall at 10:30 p.m.

Edgewater 4th of July Celebration

Where: George Kennedy Memorial Park, 103 N. Riverside Drive, Edgewater
Cost: Free
Details: The city of Edgewater will be holding an Independence Day celebration at George R. Kennedy Memorial Park. There will be food, music and fireworks that will take place at dusk by Zambelli Fireworks. Call 424-2400.
