“He always makes sure that we are on time to soccer and baseball. Our dad teaches us manners so that when we grow up we will know how to be respectful. Our dad makes us laugh so hard all the time. He always tells us every day that he loves us. Our dad has a race car, which makes him the best of all!”

“So I asked my Mommy to type this for me cause I really want to see my Daddy win. … Me and my Daddy are best best friends, best best friends, best best friends, me and my Daddy are best best friends all day long. … My Daddy always tells me that my life is like a blank piece of paper, and it’s his job to help me write a best seller. I know all Daddies love their kids, but my Daddy sacrifices and gives his entire life from morning ‘til night to make sure I only get to experience the best of life; I’ve already traveled the world and have my own rewards program for airlines and cruises, but the best is my Daddy always does whatever he needs to to keep me laughing and always smiling. Daddy says he wants to give and show me everything this world has to offer, so I know a better world exist and I have something to strive for. I get this feeling that everything my Daddy’s exposing me to and is doing for me now will be the basis to help me become something special someday. I’m so happy I’m daddy’s Little Italian Princess. P.S. My mommy is amazing too, but this ones about Dads; got you covered Mother’s Day, Mommy!”

“My Dad is rad because he cares about everyone and always puts us first. This rad Dad takes my child every Wednesday to the park, and we spend every Sunday together as a family, which includes church, food and fun. The real reason this Dad is so rad is because he is a selfless man who was brought into my life through God. I grew up without a father, and when I married his son (also a rad Dad) I gained the best Dad in the world. Some Dads may not be biological but are rooted in our hearts and sent as gifts from God to fill the voids in our hearts. He has shown me and my two boys what a real father is and how to be a wonderful example to our family. This rad Dad also isn't afraid to be a big kid and still keeps up even with our youngest. He loves his family, helps his community and is the real raddest Dad around. He deserves this award, and I would love to frame the newspaper and hang it so he can see how special he is to his family.”

“My dad is rad because he saved my family. When I was 3, my father left, and when I was 7, he stopped seeing me and my brother all together. When my dad came along he made everything so much better. He was always there for me to talk to and always cared about me and anything that I was doing. He was always there to help support us and keep a roof over our head and food on the table. Even though many fathers do that same thing, I feel like my dad does even better because he didn’t bring us into this world, but he stepped up and raised us. He took a job that is very difficult and not something everyone can do. Without him I don’t know where my family would be; he is honestly such a blessing and has helped me become the person I am today. He is always there to keep me going and make sure I always give 110%. I love him so much and think he deserves so much recognition for doing the hardest job, being the best role model for a daughter.”
