Port Orange resident Aaron Tucker and his dog Falco have had a busy career that has led them to help first responders, assist with canine training and support non-profits. It's this kind of positive work both locally and beyond that recently led to the duo being recognized by the Port Orange City Council on Tuesday, June 19, with a certificate of appreciation for their service to the city of Port Orange.

However, this wasn't the first time the two have been recognized for their work. Last year, Tucker and Falco were named the 2017 Ultimate K9 team for Men's Health magazine. The magazine highlighted the team's work with law enforcement locating the body of a missing person.

Currently, Tucker runs Florida K9 Unleashed and frequently travels to help instruct K9 handlers and medical responders on handling emergency situations with their canines. Last year, Tucker and Falco completed a 31-mile walk to remember those who have lost their lives while serving in the U.S. military.
