Spruce Creek Park, 6250 Ridgewood Ave., Port Orange, will be closed for one week beginning Friday, June 22, to remove numerous pine trees infested with Ips bark beetles, which kill the trees. Removal of the infested trees will prevent the spread of beetles to additional trees.

Signs will be posted in the park, and a notice will be posted on the Spruce Creek Park web page at Volusia.org/parks. A notice will also be posted when the park reopens.
