Details: Hosted by the Palm Coast Parks and Recreation Department and the Leisure Services Advisory Committee, the workshop will focus on the grant submittal process and timeline; completion of the grant application and the required information/documentation; the event and organization budget form; and general information about grant writing and grant funders. The matching grant program is open to Palm Coast-based nonprofit organizations. The grants must be used to fund cultural arts programs and/or events that are conducted within the city of Palm Coast. Details: Palm Coast Parks and Recreation and Flagler Schools present “The Lego Batman Movie” on the big screen by the lake. Closed captioning is provided with the monthly movies. Bring snacks, blankets, lawn chairs and bug spray.

Details: Kids age 5 to 15 with a parent can attend. Each participant is asked to bring a nonperishable food item to the kids clinic that will be collected and go to the food pantry in Bunnell. The Flagler Sportfishing Club along with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Fish Florida and volunteers will be conducting a program of six skill stations which will teach the participant about: casting, conservation, habitat, knot tying, proper fish handling and how to throw a cast net. After attending all six stations, each participant will receive a “Good Angler” award. Free rods and reels will be given to the first 200 kids. Each kid will get a free hot dog and water.
