1:33 p.m. — First block of Baymeadow Court
Possession of paraphernalia. A 33-year-old cutter for a landscaping company he claimed to be called "Real Men Maintenance" was arrested after police found three capped syringes inside a Ziploc bag in his pocket. The man's person was searched due to his identity not coming up on file.
The man later admitted he'd given police a false name because he had a warrant. Police were alerted to his presence by a neighbor who called in a suspicious presence of a green pickup truck.
When an officer arrived on scene, the defendant was alone. He grabbed a chainsaw and began trimming a shrug. He told police he did not know where the rest of the crew was.
The man admitted he had a crack pipe on his person as well, and told the officer he had a "bad crack problem" and really wanted help.
8:50 a.m. — First block of South Yonge Street
Possession of paraphernalia. Police arrested a 25-year-old man from Holly Hill after being found with 128 grams of weed, totaling an estimated $475 of worth, following a traffic stop for driving on the wrong side of the road.
The officer smelled burnt cannabis on the inside of the man's car, and proceeded to search the man's vehicle, finding several "roaches." At that point, the man told the officer there was a bag of weed in the backseat. Police also found $883 in the car.
