Knights of Columbus volunteer, support athletes at Special Olympics

Council 8086 participated in the preliminary events.

On Saturday, March 3, at Spruce Creek High School, members of the Our Lady Of Hope Knights of Columbus Star Council 8086 volunteered their time to help with the preliminaries for the Special Olympics of Volusia and Flagler Counties.

Twenty-three Knights and wives assisted in soccer, bocce ball and the presentation awards ceremony.The winners in each event advanced to the Special Olympics Florida State Finals in Orlando in May.
