Green beer and attire filled Farley's Irish Pub for a party that shamrocked European Village on Saturday, March 17.
For the sixth year, the pub at this location lit up the bar with green lights, hung shamrocks and strung Irish decorations for a twelve-hour extravaganza celebrating Irish heritage.
Farley's owner Jerry Masiello estimated that 1,200 to 1,500 will attend from noon to midnight for the party.
"It's been getting bigger every year," he said.
Live music entertainment included Michael Funge and Coastal Florida Police and Fire Pipes and Drums. The Guinness Street Team hyped up the crowd by passing out giveaways.
Special for St. Patrick's Day, glasses of green beer clanked along the bar as the celebration grew.
"We add our own dye, so the kind of cool thing about that is that we can give anybody any beer they want," Masiello said.
While Masiello isn't Irish, his wife is. Lucky him.
