Looking for gently used clothing, toys, athletic equipment, small appliances, furniture, jewelry, books, CDs, candles, glassware, kitchenwares, shows, hats, belts and working small flat-screen TVs. Details: Ocean Art Gallery will hold an art opening reception for 13 of Florida’s award-winning plein air and studio artists who will showcase their unique art styles in an exhibit titled “Fabulous Florida.” The artists in this exhibit, which will end with a closing party from 6-8 p.m. on May 4, will be Trish Beckham, John Caggiano, Kathleen Chenet, Priscilla Coote, Charles Dickinson, Rebecca Eagan, Cynthia Edmonds, Sally Evans, Martha Lent, Peter Pettegrew, Morgan Samuel Price, Gary Rupp and Tom Sadler. Details: Matanzas High School Interact Club will host Rise Against Hunger, an international organizational dedicated to eliminating world hunger by 2030, to create a meal packaging event where Interacters and other community members will package 14,000 meals. Interact has been tasked with raising almost $5,000 in order to host the event, so they are looking for community help and business sponsors.
