Details: “South Pacific” has been a hit since its stage debut in 1949. Some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most memorable songs, “Bali Ha’I,” “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair,” “There is Nothing Like A Dame,” “I’m In Love With a Wonderful Guy,” and “Some Enchanted Evening” help tell of two heartwarming love stories, set on an island paradise during World War II, that are threatened by prejudice and war.
