A deputy spotted Gregory Greenway, 67, who has had previous encounters with law enforcement, driving recklessly on Cypress Point Parkway at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. Greenway then pinned the woman against the door out of view of the deputies. The deputies could overhear a physical altercation inside the apartment and used a master key to enter into the apartment to protect the victim from any harm.
Deputies attempted to secure Greenway in handcuffs, which he actively resisted. He was placed under arrest for fleeing and eluding, aggravated assault and false Imprisonment, among other charges. Greenway is currently on a six-month probation for a driving under the influence arrest that was reduced to reckless driving.
He was taken to the Flagler County Jail and is being held without bond.

"Our deputies did a great job spotting a dangerous driver, tactically observing him as he fled and apprehending him before he could hurt someone.”
