Details: Join in for an informative talk by Diane Spoden on "The Magical World of Bees," where she will discuss the importance of bees, how colonies work, the products of the hive and how we can help bees. Spoden is a member of the Crescent Beach Ladies Beekeeping Collective. This is a free event, but attendees are asked to register in advance at ormondartmuseum.org or by calling 676-3347.

Details: Join Father Eamonn Gill Council 13018 Knights of Columbus for an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast in the social hall. The meal also includes scrambled eggs, a sausage link, orange juice and coffee. Costs $5 for adults. Children under 12 eat free. All are welcome.

Details: Ormond Beach Firefighters Charities are "battling cancer by buzzing heads." All of the proceeds of the event will benefit Light the Way, an organization that helps cancer patients and their families with individual needs in Volusia County. Local firefighters will shave their heads for the cause, including Fire Battalion Commander Nate Quartier. Ormond Beach Police Chief Jesse Godfrey will also shave his head. Details: Citizens for Ormond Beach will be hosting a candidates forum for the mayoral and City Commission candidates, as well as for the candidates for the Florida House of Representatives District 25 and 26 an the United States House of Representatives District 6. The mayoral and City Commission candidates will answer questions about the future of the city, what they will be bringing to the commission and if Ormond Beach has been growing in a responsible way. Meet and greet the candidates prior to the forum, which officially starts at 7 p.m.
