Mainland scored twice in the fourth quarter to pull away: Running back D’Andre McMillian scored on a 6-yard run, and receiver Shawn Daffin hauled in a 20-yard pass for a touchdown.
The Buccaneers (5-3, 3-0) won 21-6. It was the fifth time this season that the Buccaneers' offense, which is averaging 28.1 points per game, scored under 30 points.
The Buccaneers haven't eclipsed the 30-point mark since their 44-point outburst in a win over Pine Ridge on Sept. 14.
