Spruce Creek falls flat against FPC

The Hawks lost to the Bulldogs 24-8 on Friday, Oct. 12.

Despite boasting a talented and powerful running back in junior Marvin Scott, the Hawks struggled to move the ball against Flagler Palm Coast's vaunted defense. The Hawks failed to score in the first 46 minutes of a 24-8 loss to the Bulldogs on Friday, Oct. 12, at FPC High School.

The Hawks gave up a 58-yard punt return touchdown to fall behind 17-0 in the first half.

Scott scored from 3 yards out with less than 2 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to end the shutout, and quarterback Nick Christiano ran in the 2-point conversion.
