Intracoastal Banks celebrated its 10-year anniversary on Oct. 10, culminating in an anniversary ribbon cutting and open house at the bank's Palm Coast office, which is located at 1290 Palm Coast Parkway NW.
The bank has achieved three milestones so far in 2018: Total assets reached more than $327 million, total deposits more than $290 million and total loans more than $220 million.
Throughout its tenure, the Intracoastal Bank team has received several awards from various organizations. The bank was voted "Best Bank" in the local Readers’ Choice Awards as well as "Best Financial Institution" in the Standing O Business Excellence Awards and was named Flagler County Chamber’s "Large Business of the Year" in 2017. According to Bankers Caddy, Intracoastal ranks in the top 1% of banks in the country in overall performance (based on 2017 results).
In conjunction with the anniversary ribbon cutting, the bank also presented a check for $40,000 to the United Way of Volusia and Flagler Counties. United Way President Dennis Burns was on-hand to accept the check. The bank calculated that with corporate and employee giving, they have donated a total of $141,849 to the United Way over the past 10 years.
Intracoastal Bank President and CEO Bruce Page said the bank has been involved with various charities and organizations in the area over the past few years, including SNA Healthcare, the Florida Hospital Foundation, the Halifax Humane Society, among others. The bulk of the bank's donations go to the United Way, however.
"Because of the United Way and the unique mission that it has, we chose the United Way as our top charity from the beginning because it supports so many different areas in our community," Page said.
