Palm Coast Parks and Recreation’s Pickleball Ladder League is returning for fall, starting Monday, Sept. 17, for mixed doubles and Thursday, Sept. 20, for doubles play, according to a news release.
Mixed doubles will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays, and doubles play will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays at Holland Park, located at 18 Florida Park Drive.
The fall Pickleball Ladder League is for adult players ages 18 and up. Each week, players will be placed into groups of four in the order of their ranking on the ladder for match play. Rankings will be determined after results of each round of play.
The cost is $5 for the entire mixed doubles session that runs Sept. 17 through Nov. 12 and $5 for the entire doubles session that runs Sept. 20 through Nov. 15. Registration is required: www.parksandrec.fun/athletics.
Free weekly open court sessions will continue on the regular schedule: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays; 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays; and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays. The weekly open court program is for adults and is played at the Belle Terre Park tennis courts, located at 339 Parkview Drive. Equipment is provided.
A free beginner’s pickleball class is available Fridays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for those who pre-register at www.parksandrec.fun/athletics. The beginner’s class is held at Holland Park, and equipment will be provided.
