A man was shot in Ormond Beach near midnight on Sunday, Sept. 23, reported the Ormond Beach Police Department.
A press release stated that police responded to a call regarding a shooting at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Tomoka Avenue. The 24-year-old Ormond Beach victim sustained non-life threatening injuries, police reported. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the scene, and two suspects were detained.
Police report this was a contained incident and all persons involved have been contacted. The investigation is ongoing and charges are currently pending.
