Florida Gov. Rick Scott met the founder of the African American Entrepreneurs Association, Leslie Giscombe, at a campaign stop at St. Augustine Whetstone Chocolates. Scott spent 5 minutes discussing the importance of supporting the underserved communities in the area of entrepreneurship with Giscombe.

"When you help a poor man start a business you help the whole community to become successful," Scott said in a news release.  

Building in Palm Coast sold for $300K

A 1,735-square-foot office building was brokered by Margaret Sheehan, a CCIM at Parkside Realty Group, according to a news release. The owner was originally seeking tenant, but Sheehan ended up finding a buyer.

The building, which is located at 7 Boulder Rock Drive in Palm Coast, was sold for $300,000.
