Ormond Beach man dies after hit by semi

Police report that 69-year-old Michael George Kasper died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.

A 69-year-old Ormond Beach resident died after he was hit with a semi-tractor trailer on the access road between Lowe's and Panera Bread on Friday, April 5, Ormond Beach Police report.

According to a press release, Michael George Kasper died at the scene of the crash, which happened around 6:30 a.m. The circumstances of the crash are unknown. The traffic lanes on West Granada Boulevard were adjusted to one lane going eastbound in front of the crash.
