Details: This month features “A Wrinkle in Time” (PG). Bring your blanket, lawn chairs and snacks and invite your friends and neighbors to join you at this free, monthly family activity offered by Palm Coast Parks & Recreation and Flagler Schools. Democratic Women’s meeting

Where: African American Cultural Society, 4422 N. US Highway 1

Cost: Free

Details: Florida Democratic Women’s Club Region Chair Barbara Grimm will address the Democratic Women's Club of Flagler County. She will be available to discuss this year’s annual meeting in Orlando, where speakers will include U.S. Representative Val Demings, former Watergate Prosecutor, and Flagler Democratic Party Chair Terri Rizzo. The DWCF will begin 9:30 a.m. and speaker at 10 a.m.

 

"4 Artists Talk"

When: 5-5:45 p.m.

Where: Flagler County Art League gallery, 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite A208

Cost: Free

Details: The Gargiulo Foundation invites you to "4 Artists Talk," immediately before the opening reception for two new shows, "8x8 Inches" and the "Summer Gallery & Artisan Market." The four artists will be Peter Cerreta, J. J. Graham, Harry Messersmith and John Sbordone. They will share their work and exhibiting experiences with us. The moderator will be Tom Gargiulo.

Hurricane preparedness

Improv Night

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Flagler Playhouse, 301 E. Moody Blvd.

Cost: $5 admission

Details: The first-ever evening of improv comes to the playhouse. Teams will be brought up at random and given suggestions from the audience to form sketches on the spot.
