Bling Bling in Y2K — the final event in the Through The Decades Summer Zumba Block Party Series presented by Atmosphere Reinvented at MPower Fitness — raised $500 for the DiaBEATes Alliance on Aug 17. Hosted by Crazy Sock Divas, the event had attendees wear 2000s-themed outfits and burn calories dancing to 90 minutes of song hits from 2000-2010. Each event in the series featured a raffle in which 100% of the proceeds went to a featured charity, and this month’s was dedicated to the DiaBEATes Alliance as part of the Advent Health Foundation Palm Coast, which was onsite to provide information and resources on diabetes. The 2000s raffle raised $250, and MPower Fitness matched the funds.
