Starting Sunday, sandbags will no longer be available in Port Orange

Residents need to show proof of residency and can fill their own bags or city supplied bags while they still can.

Sandbags will no longer be available for Port Orange residents on Sunday, Sept. 1, according to the city of Port Orange's website.

Four Port Orange Sites are:

  • Southwinds Soccer Complex (1200 Richel Drive)
  • Spruce Creek Road Park (481 Central Park Blvd. (by the ball fields)
  • Coraci Park (5200 Coraci Blvd.)
  • Airport Road Park (6751 Airport Road)

Residents need to show proof of residency and can fill their own bags or city supplied bags. Bring a shovel. If you bring your own bags, make sure they are small trash bags and are double bagged.

The limit is 10 per household.
