Ormond Beach Police officers promoted

Two Ormond Beach police officers were promoted in rank on Thursday, Dec. 12.

Fellow officers, station staff and family members attended the promotional ceremony for Jim Voegtle and Caleb Braun. Voegtle was promoted to sergeant, and Braun was promoted to corporal.

Voegtle, a New York native, began his career with the Ormond Beach Police Department in 2006. Braun was born in Georgia and began working with OBPD in 2009.
