The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office added additional charges against 25-year-old Anthony J. Mobley Jr.

Mobley was arrested by FCSO after being on the run for 34 hours after fleeing from a traffic stop at the Shell Station on Boulder Rock Drive. Initially Mobley was charged with resisting an officer without violence and violation of probation. On Saturday, Dec. 14, the FCSO added charges for grand theft auto, petit theft, reckless driving, and feeling and eluding.

“Filing additional charges after an arrest is not something that is uncommon,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “After a suspect is taken into custody, the investigation continues and new facts can sometimes bring additional charges. I want to thank the community again for their help in locating this guy and helping us put him in the Green Roof Inn where he belongs and commend our Deputies for  continuing the investigation that resulted in these additional charges.”
