Three dogs and one cat have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.
The first is Gracie, a 9-year-old shepherd mix with a red and white coat. She is graduating this week from her eight-week training class at Volusia County Correctional, having passed "with flying colors," according to the Halifax Humane Society. She is ready for new forever home. Gracie has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Aug. 26, and her adoption fee costs $35.
The second is Buddy, a 10-year-old terrier mix with a tan coat. While Buddy is in the Home for the Holidays program with a foster family, he is still looking for a permanent home. Buddy has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Dec. 6, and his adoption fee costs $70.
The third is Chase, a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a brown coat. He is a "one-household" dog, needing all the attention from his future family. Chase has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Nov. 13, and his adoption fee costs $70. He was also featured in last week's edition.
The cat is Howard, a 6-year-old domestic shorthair with a black and white coat. He has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Nov. 9, and his adoption fee costs $35. He has been featured in the last two editions, and is still in need of a home.
