The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence on Buttonwell Lane in Palm Coast on the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 18. The FCSO SWAT Team assisted with the search warrant execution. This was the result of several undercover operations within the past few months that stemmed from citizen complaints of suspected drug activity at the residence.

Detectives witnessed heavy traffic consistently coming and going from the residence at all hours, and detectives were able to confirm drugs were being sold from the residence. During the execution of the Search Warrant, 39-year-old Jarian Rahsaun Webb was found to be the sole occupant in the home.

During the search, detectives seized approximately a half of a pound of cannabis, hydrocodone pills, ecstasy pills, a loaded handgun, a box of ammunition and a scale and packaging materials. Some of the cannabis seized from the residence was packaged for distribution. Detectives also seized over $4,000 from the residence which is believed to be proceeds from narcotics sales.

The firearm recovered was found hidden in the oven. Webb denied knowledge of the firearm but admitted to knowledge of the ammunition found in the bedroom which was the same make and caliber of the ammunition found in the firearm.

Webb is a seven-time convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.

“Unfortunately drugs, guns and money go hand in hand,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Dealers are often the target of robberies, home invasions, and other violent crimes and their illicit activities draw unwelcomed visitors to nice neighborhoods. Our detectives and the community members who reported suspicious activity did a great job in taking the drugs and this poison peddler off the streets.”

Webb was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of cannabis with intent to sell, among other charges.

He was booked into the Flagler County Jail and is being held without bond. Additional charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
