Volusia County wood carvers to hold show on Sunday

Artists from four different wood carving clubs in Volusia County will show their creations at the Port Orange Adult Center.

Volusia County wood carvers are coming together for a special show at the Port Orange Adult Center, located at 4790 S. Ridgewood Ave., this Sunday, Jan. 13.

Held from 9 a.m to 4 p.m., the woodcarving show is made up of a collaboration of artists from four different carving clubs in the county; The Deltona Wood Carvers, Palm Coast Wood Carvers and Volusia Wood Workers Guild and the Friends Carving Club. John Carlton, of the Friends Carving Club, presented information about the event to the Port Orange City Council on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
