Burglars broke into the Flagler County Tax Collector’s branch office at 7 Old Kings Road in Palm Coast early the morning of Saturday, Jan. 19, stealing electronics.

Deputies responde to the location shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 19, according to a Flagler County Sheriff's Office news release. The front glass door had been shattered.

Tax Collector’s office personnel responded and reviewed video surviellance, which shows two people break the glass on the front door with an object and enter the business just after 3:00 a.m. The thieves grabbed electronics and fled through the door.

Deputies are trying to get more surveillance footage from nearby businesses. The suspects' vehicle appears to be a white SUV or minivan, according to the news release.

“Even though the incident occurred in the early morning hours, it is possible that someone saw something,” Sheriff Rick Staly said in the news release. “We’re asking the community to come forward with any information that might help. Our team is working hard to locate these criminals.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the FCSO at 386-313-4911 and mention case number 2019-5713, or send an email to [email protected]. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS. Crime Stoppers tipsters may be eligible for a reward up to $5,000.
