Three dogs who have been waiting to be adopted since winter have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.
The first is Clarke, a 2-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix dog with a brown coat. She makes a great companion dog, as she is playful and loves to snuggle. She has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Jan. 8, and her adoption fee costs $70.
The second is Destiny, a 3-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix dog with a brown coat. She is looking for a devoted owner to dedicate time to. She has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Feb. 13. Her adoption fee costs $70.
The third is Darla, a 7-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix dog with a blue and white coat. She is a playful dog looking for someone to spend fun times with. Darla has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Jan. 3, and her adoption fee costs $35.
